disneyland baby!

You heard! The one, the only
It is official, to those of you who have heard, that I will be in Disneyland around Spring break. With my mom teaching Kindergarten now, it's taking a lot of thought and rearranging of schedules to make it work. I'm just so excited to go to California again!

I've been there 2x, one when I was 7, and the other when I was 10. When I was 7 we went to SEA WORLD and DISNEYLAND, but when I was 10 we went to American Girl Place and Wicked. I get to go back to Disneyland for the first time in so many years, and according to my Aunt Andrea, we'll be there EVERYDAY for 5 days.

I wonder what I'll end up riding in the end. I'm what you'd probably call half chicken. Half of me really wants adventure and will do things unthinkingly for pure fun, but my character is too observant and suspicious for that part to dominate every time, so maybe I'll get the guts to go on the scary ones.

and PS, I AM NEVER GOING ON SPLASH MOUNTAIN AGAIN.

Of course, if I'm gonna travel, I have to investigate for the many hauntings supposedly taking place there. These are just things I pulled off of the haunted places index. Sorry, guys. You know I have an obsession.

• the christmas shop=many reports of a picture of a straight-faced woman taken in the 19th century frowning at times on one of the shelves.
• Disney gallery=cold spots, tall man found after closing of park and in early mornings believed to be old Walt himself
• fire station=2nd floor gone unused since Disney's death. was an apartment for him while he inspected the park and did park business. footsteps heard and knocking on door.
• haunted mansion=supposedly 3 spirits. an elderly man, an elderly woman, and a young man. other reported happenings probably apart of the ride.
• it's a small world=dolls move without power.
• matterhorn mountain=a woman named Dolly died after falling off a sled and being hit by one.
• the pirates of the Carrabian=a boy and his mother loved the ride. he died of cancer, she spread the ashes there despite the park's objection, now a boy is seen riding alone at night on the camera, yet no one is there when the boat turns up.
• space mountain="mr. one-way." he haunts the ladie's employee locker room as well as the ride, which he had died on the ride in the 70s. he is described as a large man with red hair and a red face often riding with people riding by themselves, but dissapears at the end.
• star trader=cold spots, 4th floor stock room
• old "people mover" ride=a boy jumped off, got caught, and dragged beneath, desperatly pulling at his girlfriend's long blond hair to save himself. now girl's hair(especally like his girlfriend's)are felt tugged on the ride.
• tom sawyer's island=several ghosts seen. 3 boys drowned there(rivers of america), all grad night victoms.
• tommorow land=cold spots, manacing presence.
  

Enough for you? When I was in Beauty and the Beast, my friend Kaitlin told us about what her older sister, Rachel, learned while working at Disneyland. According to what was said, The Haunted Mansion is the one with the little boy's ghost, and The Pirates of the Carrabian has the ghost of the creator that had a wife who was mistreated by the employees. When horrible things began to happen, they treated her a little differently, and things got better. If this ghost is real, it has gone absolutley mad with power. The employees now show respect for the dead man, and his name(concealed form me and Kait), if it is shouted in the ride, "I don't beleive in so-ans-so!" the shouter will be evicted from the ride.

Scary! I'm all excited now.

I've been invited to sing in 2 churches in other news, and for my cousin's baptism, me and my cousins are singing "I am a Child of God" in Spanish! I'm pretty excited for that, too. I am going to be in a music video made by Elite singing "Rockstar" by Miley Cyrus, I'm going to David Archuleta's concert next month, and Argentina next year(WHOO HOO!)
